A few years ago, the City of Boulder, north of Denver, entered into a sister-city relationship with Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan (in Central Asia). As part of an exchange of gifts, Dushanbe sent to Boulder a magnificent gem of a tea house, which was re-erected and has ever since been operated by Boulder to the delight of its citizens and its visitors. The tea house serves a multitude of different teas and accompanying food, which of course we sampled.
