The Wicklow Mountains contain many villages (photos 1 - 9), and also a well-known old ("Est.1798") pub named Johnnie Fox's (11 - 16), said to be the "highest pub in Ireland." The attraction there was dinner and a troup of musicians and Irish step dancers, who were superb. The room we were in was large, rafters decorated with chamber pots (yes!), and quite crowded. We were seated right at the front edge of the stage, so photos were not easy and those we took not our best. But it was a marvelous evening!
