Rain forest via hanging bridges

In the vicinity of Volcan Arenal (it was clouded over also and we didn't sight it even though we spent two nights and days essentially at its foot) we again travelled into the rain forest. This time we hiked up and through the mountain side, often crossing over deep ravines on hanging bridges of steel cables. Photo 1 shows the gathering of bikers for an annual ride around Lake Arenal. 4 is a monkey ladder tree, 5 a cow's tongue plant, 9 and 10 flowers of a palm tree, and 13 through 17 the very comfortable accommodations where we stayed near the volcano
