Wedding
The Wedding day started with a private civil ceremony in the morning. This was followed in the afternoon by a wonderful celebration of wedding vows and tributes to the new couple before the large numbers of family and fiends gathered in the out of doors. Anke and Carl could not have been happier, nor could the rest of us. After some time to get to meet people and chat, a really extraordinary wedding dinner was held inside the hall, culminating in dancing. And of course it was an opportunity to take some pictures of the travelers; that is Irem next to Julia in photo 9. Photo 11 is a reminder of the days when I danced with Julia's mother, Jennifer, at about that age.
