Welcome to this page. Here we have pictures from our trip to Colorado in late March of this year (2007). The visit was quick one to see how the J4 (daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Jono, and grandchildren Joseph and Julia) were settling in to their new home in "The Wild, Wild West," and to pick up a little flavor of it for ourselves.

We had both been to Denver many years ago, so of course the growth of the area since our earlier visits was, to us, amazing. It turned out that the town in which our guys were living, with the romantic literary name of "Centennial" was in fact a new town of just a couple of years ago and no relationship to the place of the title of James Michener's book.

I mention this as illustration of how amazing growth has brought much new to the area. Construction is everywhere; new, modern buildings and residential areas are scattered broadly. (Yes, there is a lot of room out there!)

The pictures are grouped according to our side trips, with links to the thumbnail pages on the left of this page. Enjoy!
